It was easy, no pressure, no games. Chris was great, up front and honest, things couldn??? Expect to be told to lie to customers. Management was a joke, pay was laughable, lots of mandatory overtime with little to no advance notice.

Management has a hard time communicating with each other and their employees. Things could run much smoother than it currently is. The work is not hard at all, but tedious. It's an ok place to work if you are in the call center and have no family. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are in school as well. Scheduling is inconsistent and always an issue. They must pay a lot of money for damage control because this organization looks good on paper but they have a lack of empathy. It's very stressful and they don't have a wellness program.
I would think they have one, being that the customers are verbal abusive as well as the agents. There's also closet racists. Its a good place to work if you do not have a family and can spend all day there. The pay for continuing education and have great benefits from day one. Working at NYL had its up and downs, the job paid well for what they were asking for. The job was very basic and did not require a lot of thinking.
If you like repetitiveness then this is the job for you. I noticed that in order to progress within the dept you had to know who to be nice to. You are just a number here. The hardest part of the job is being there all day doing the same exact thing. The most enjoyable part would have to be the hour lunches.
